The world needs to become more accepting of all different figures, shapes and sizes, and not make ‘skinny’ and ideal. Being skinny is the idealised figure of the whole world. It’s in everything. Skinny is what everyone thinks you should be, so people aim to be it. Diet cereal adverts- I don’t need to be thin, I don’t need to drop 2 dress sizes, you are trying to make me accept your ideals, which is being thinner is being better. Fair enough if you are naturally skinny- but at least you comply to the worlds idea of acceptable and good.
If you are happy with who you are, ignore the world, you don’t need to be what they want. If you are what you yourself want, and are happy with, you don’t need to listen to them, as you already have the key to your happiness and beauty.
